about

'Jerusalem' is probably England's unofficial national anthem. We share 'God Save The Queen' with other countries. The recording was inspired by going round the corner to watch the amazing Englishman; Jeff Beck, at the Royal Albert Hall (14th May 2014). He didn't play this work... but maybe he could have done, it would have been so much better!

lyrics

Jerusalem

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green:
And was the Holy Lamb of God,
On England's pleasant pastures seen!

And did the Countenance Divine,
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here,
Among these dark Satanic Mills?

Bring me my Bow of burning gold;
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of Fire!

I will not cease from Mental Fight,
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand:
'Till we have built Jerusalem,
In England's green and pleasant Land

Buzzing Strangers

Buzzing strangers into the building is a dangerous pastime. Letting them back out again is kind. Buzzing Strangers came from elsewhere after hearing distorted rock music drifting across the stellar distances. They visited, stayed, and thought it was the best way to communicate... ... more
